999 Emergency Calls

News relating to SMB products and 999 access.
We are pleased to report that in line with ofcom regulations we now allow access to the emergency services via the FGDTV SMB product. (Hosted System)
Emergency access via our Enterprise product has always been available and incorporate redundancy for emergency access in that, should your primary internet connection for the phone system fail, then the redundant PSTN lines will ensure you can gain access to the 999 services. This is something that is not applicable to the SMB product. We do ask that all clients ensure they have fully charged mobile to hand to ensure they can contact the emergency services due to failure of the phone system outside of our control.
As all systems require you to use 9 in order to get an outside line, please ensure you dial this leading digit as well as dialing 999. For example: 9 999
If you have any questions, please contact us.
